Description
In this video, we take on an old, worn-out flat roof in Fauldhouse and give it a full transformation using a torch-on felt system. This flat roof was in desperate need of an upgrade, so we stripped it back to the boards and rebuilt it the right way for durability and long-lasting protection.

Here’s what we did:

✅ Stripped the old roof back to the boards 🏚️
✅ Installed a 3B vapour barrier for moisture control
✅ Added 50mm insulation for better energy efficiency
✅ Torched on a 2mm waterproof underlay for extra protection
✅ Finished with a mineral cap sheet, drips, and flashings 🔥
✅ Fixed the slated side and stripped & re-slated the other side with Spanish slates 🏡

The result? A watertight, durable, and fire-sealed roof that will stand the test of time! 💪🔥
