Since September 2022, the URA standardised how developers calculate unit sizes. This means non-livable spaces like aircon ledges and double-volume air space voids are no longer included in the official square footage. As a result, newer harmonised units might look smaller on paper, making the Per Square Foot (PSF) appear higher!
But is a higher PSF always a bad thing?
