In the Building Power in Education and Health: Meeting Student and Teacher Needs Through Collective Action panel, experts critically examined the state of school-based and school-linked health initiatives as part of comprehensive approaches to education reform. They identified where current approaches fall short and discussed practical and innovative strategies for strengthening school-connected health interventions, including partnerships between educational institutions and health communities, as a vital tool to not only improve young people’s health outcomes but also their educational achievements.
