The latest cable innovation by Lapp Group is for the Variable Frequency Drive application, ÖLFLEX® VFD 2XL and the same with Signal. This is a robust, oil and UV-resistant motor cable with a unique XLPE insulation, which is capable to withstand twice the dielectric voltage test and suitable for 2kV applications.

Lapp have a wide range of motor, encoder and feedback cables suitable for fixed and constant flexing applications. Lapp have also collaborated with many major drive manufacturers to develop connector fitted cable assemblies for use with servo and VFD systems.

With a shielded construction of finely stranded tinned copper, the insulation of XLPE (plus). A protective shielding of barrier tape; triple later foil tape covering 100% of the cable.

Tinned copper braid (85% coverage) Finally, the cable is surrounded by a specially formulated thermoplastic elastomer, (also known as TPE) in black.

The cable is resistant to damage caused by oil, flame, motion and mechanical means.
