I visited the morning shabu-shabu and obanzai buffet at Restaurant Yamawarau in Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ginza 3-chome, Tokyo.
I enjoyed delicious shabu-shabu in a pot prepared one for each person in the morning and an obanzai buffet that accentuated the flavors of the ingredients.
The Obanzai Buffet menu is new to the restaurant as of April 1, 2022.
The restaurant's name, Yamawarau, is a seasonal term in haiku for spring. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in a warm, modern Japanese style.
It was very nice to be able to enjoy shabu-shabu in a pot exclusively for one person without hesitation.
Seats for one person are at the counter. I liked that rice and condiments can be refilled freely and can be ordered immediately from the waiter at the counter.
Drinks and obanzai are also all-you-can-eat.
Yamawarau Ginza branch is a shabu-shabu specialty restaurant where one person can enjoy one pot of shabu-shabu.
In addition to the Ginza branch, there is also an Omotesando branch and a Nagoya Lasik branch.
The Ginza branch is the only one that offers morning shabu-shabu and a vegetable-centered "Obanzai Buffet" of 12 kinds for 2,180 yen (tax included).
