The first Stage, taking place in the classic Flims forest, requires exact map reading coupled with a physically challenging terrain. The course alternates between slow and fast paced sections, with some legs offering the choice between the two. Mistakes are unavoidable, so it is more about keeping them to a minimum to reach the finish line as quickly as possible.
