Cheeseburger Casserole:

⭐️Ingredients:

•Ground meat of your choosing
•Black pepper
•Salt (Not a lot. I use celtic sea salt. If you're trying to be heart healthy because some of the other ingredients already have sodium in it, replace the salt with a little bit of extra garlic powder).
•Garlic power
•Onion powder
•Italian seasoning
•Weber's flavor bomb burger seasoning (at Walmart)
•Dill
•Onion
•Worcestershire sauce
•Ketchup
•Velveta mac and cheese (1 box per pound of meat up til 3 pounds; then essentially find a ratio that you're comfortable with)
•Diced tomatoes (canned is fine if you drain it) - however much you like
•Small can of tomato paste (1 per pound of meat)
•Extra pouch of Velveeta cheese (again, depends on how much you'd like)
•Shredded cheese of your choosing (I use colby jack and mozzarella because they seem to melt the best)
•And dill relish (not the sweet stuff)
•Fried onions

⭐️Directions:
1. Start browning your meat - drain the meat and then add your onions.
2. Add in the seasoning - season to your heart's content PLUS extra. The mac and cheese will dilute the taste of all of the seasoning, so you want to season like all of the southern mama's are yelling at your video -and-some extra.
3. Add in Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste. (technically for the W-sauce, adjust for taste. Tomato paste
I usually do one small can per pound of meat).
4. Add in a can of diced tomatoes (you can keep the can small if you don't like tomatoes, but I love tomatoes).
5. Cook the mac and cheese as directed on the box including the cheese
6. Add in the extra pouch of cheese (again, if you have more meat and boxes, then feel free to add in cheese...! love it when it's ooey gooey).
7. Mix the mac and cheese with the meat.
8. In a casserole dish, place a layer of mac and cheese mixture, the shredded cheese of your choosing.
9. On top of that layer, swirl on top ketchup and dill relish, and take a knife and swirl it in - don't mix
10. Repeat #8 and #9 until all of mixture is gone
11. On the top layer, do the cheese, ketchup, and dill relish and a layer of fried onions.
12. Bake in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is nice and gooey and even a slight golden brown if that's your thing.
13. My husband's favorite - more of the fried onions on top
14. Then you can use any other toppings that you like for cheeseburgers - bacon bits, more ketchup, more cheese, mustard, fried jalapenos, etc. Anything you want - lettuce even and fresh tomatoes. Whatever you like to go on a cheeseburger you can use as a topping on your plate.
