I think it’s no surprise that a lot of us love and adore spider man, the story of a down on his luck teenager peter Parker whose life changes after his encounter with a radioactive spider bite, giving him the powers to become new York's amazing, spectacular and ultimate spider man ,weather it be through his numerous appearances on the big screen, his amazingly well told video game adaptations, or his hit or miss number of TV shows, a thing you can commonly associate with spidey fans is that you can’t get them to agree on one specific media and everyone shares their own opinion, Y’know, despite how wrong some of them are

But what most fans of the wall crawler can agree on is how good spectacular spiderman is, premiering in 2008 and created by Greg weisman and victor cook, this series remains to this day the one and only to be labeled underrated by spidey fans, to a point where even now, creators such as myself are still making reviews, top tens or even video essays on it, but I don’t see many people discuss what functionally makes it a great series, what makes it stand out from the rest of the spidey series out there, well, let's find out.
