Описание: A collection of photos of my earliest oo gauge layouts, from the classic loop of track pinned to a board through to my first loft layout in the 1980's. Locomotives were all steam in the early days, mainly given as presents. Hornby LNER green 'Flying Scotsman' and BR green 'Mallard' were often to be seen pulling a short rake of LMS crimson coaches. Once the layout moved up into the loft two 3 coach Hornby HST sets were acquired. These could be merged to run with the both powered locos and 6 coaches, so getting close to a prototypical rake. A BR blue Lima class 20 and Lima Deltic were the first proper diesels to be bought, a sure sign of things to come.
