Day Forty Five of my nobo Heysen Trail Walk saw me slosh my way through a very wet Wilpena Pond from Bridle Gap to the Wilpena Pound Resort. Yesterday's building storms had delivered their load over night with pretty well non stop rain, so I was pretty happy to shuffle into the resort before lunch to dry off and clean some gear.
