A Resident Evil Reboot is in the Works. Will It Be Worth It?

The director of Barbarian (2022), Zach Cregger, is set to write and direct a new Resident Evil movie that has sparked a bidding war with several studios. This horror series certainly needs a reboot (at least when it comes to its cinematic adaptations) after that terrible Netflix TV show, and Welcome to Racoon City. However, I'm not entirely sure that this is the best direction. I've said it before, and I'm going to continue to say it. It might be time to bring back Alice and do a seventh movie with Milla Jovovich. I guess I'll let the comment section share their thoughts.
