Din Tai Fung–Style Shrimp Fried Rice (No Egg) | Simple & Fragrant
Ingredients
• 1 ½ bowls cooked rice
• 10–15 shrimp, peeled & deveined
• Green onions, finely chopped (generous amount)
• 1 Tbsp minced garlic
• Korean seasoned salt (Mat-sogeum)
• Salt
• Black pepper
• Cooking oil
Instructions
1. Finely chop the green onions.
2. Devein the shrimp and cut them into small pieces.
3. Heat a wok over medium-high heat and add a generous amount of oil.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add the chopped green onions.
Stir-fry until the green onion oil is released and aromatic. Add a pinch of salt.
4. Add the rice and stir-fry, breaking it up and mixing well with the oil.
5. Once the rice is evenly coated, season with Mat-sogeum.
Finish with a light sprinkle of black pepper.
📌 No egg, just pure shrimp and scallion flavor
