Is Nick Fuentes The Future Of The American Right?

Описание: In November of 2022, a very strange dinner took place at Donald Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. At the table sat Trump himself, the man who would go on to regain the Presidency two years later, Kanye West, who we all know at this point for a variety of reasons, and 24-year old internet streamer Nick Fuentes.

You might be thinking, who is that last guy? That’s exactly what the media tried to answer for people in the days following said dinner. The easy answer, as some of you may know by now, is that he’s a white nationalist and can probably be classified by most as an extremist. I don’t even think Fuentes himself would deny that.

But if you stop the analysis there, you miss the bigger picture.

Nick Fuentes is the leader of the self-styled "America First" movement, whose followers are better known online as the "Groypers." They are a movement composed almost entirely of Gen Z men. They don't look like the skinheads of the 1990s, and they don't act like the tiki-torch marchers in Charlottesville. They are incredibly digitally savvy. They use irony and memes as camouflage. And they brand themselves not as revolutionaries, but as "Christian Conservatives."

Why does any of this matter though? Why am I talking about it? Well, over the past couple of years, Fuentes has seen a meteoric rise to prominence, and in today's video, we're going to be discussing just how he pulled that off, and what that means for the future of American politics as a whole.
