This video is about training of pomegranate orchard. Let me tell you, what is training????
Training is actually the initial pruning of a plant from plantation till 3-4 years. In this process, we develop a strong framework for better fruit production by promoting air circulation, light penetration, canopy management and avoiding branch damage etc etc etc.
In this video Dr. Green have trained / pruned 2 years old pomegranate plant. Actually pomegranate plant is a bush, as it promotes many stems / trunks from the ground. So, people get confused that what should they do. So don't be panic.
Pomegranate can be trained in two ways i.e. multi-stemmed or multi-trunk training system and tree form or single stem training system.
