High above Downtown Dubai, I wandered along the pool until I noticed a narrow passage right at the edge, close to the water, close to the building, close to the city below.
I sat down there, feet in the water, and opened my sketchbook.
This session is part of that constant movement between places and atmospheres. A few days ago, I was sketching in the desert. Not long before that, in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Different environments, different energies, the same need to stop, observe, and draw.
Walking Sketchbook is about living these moments as they happen, being present in unfamiliar settings, letting the place shape the drawing, and allowing time to slow down for a while.
