Collage Art for Beginners (Using Only Old Magazines)

Описание: Hi! I'm Jess, I'm a collage artist and today I want to share my guide for complete beginners on how to begin creating collages.

To make it straight-forward and relatable, I used just one type of magazine to create a series of simple collages. We go on a journey from quiet surrealism to social commentary to totally weird scraps. This is part collage tutorial, part personal process video, and a gentle reminder that you don’t need a lot of tools—or pressure—to make art. Materials used: – National Geographic magazines – Scissors, X-acto knife (I didn't spell this correctly in the video, lol), glue stick, and brayer we create surreal collages. And later, we make a mixed media collage using the scraps we've created plus pens and markers.
