Our first outing in the KTM Duke 250..
Although I'm not feeling 100% ( recently had bad bouts of diarrhea) am feeling excited enough to drag my lazy ass from the bed and onto the Duke 250 seat.
Well.. the engine is really smooth ( this bike is late 2022 model ) and the upgraded suspensions are a real bonus although I still have to adapt to the KTM quirks that I've forgotten like the excessive chain slap in the swingarm and the minimal engine brake.
But, the mechanical brakes ( front and rear) are great. Have to get use to the weak bottom end power compared to the other 250's that we are used to.. but to be fair... it's got a great top end rush which is quite addictive.
Overall a great bike but, I have to adjust my riding style to better suit the bike and harness the advantages that it offers better..
Let's hope there are lots more KTM videos to come..
