HERBAS low pressure CO2 desinsection chamber destroys all development stages of common pests, even tough beetle species. Although, pupa and larva stages are more resistant due to their hibernation-like state, our low pressure-chambers deal with them due to specific way of operation, with proven and tested absolute successful rates. Tests have been carried out by a certified institution in realistic conditions, but customer satisfaction proves it the best!

CO2 chambers cannot remove pests from the product. That needs to be prevented beforehand, or produt should be cleaned manually or by optical sorters. They can destroy and therefore prevent insects from multiplying rapidly and exponentially - ruining the product and leading to complaints from buyers, shipment returns and customer/user unsatisfaction. This is therefore becoming a crucial step in quality control.

They are completely safe when applied to food or other products.
Part of the industry is still using toxins that are also dangerous for humans in long-term, even in low concentrations. That is why it is necessary to urgently adopt this practice, as a new company's strength and competitive advantage that can also be advertised and that can attract new customers.

The process can be remotely monitored and controlled, over any device with user-defined credentials.

Implementing such a process requires sanitary area, with separate rooms before and after the CO2 treatment and that paths of processed and unprocessed materials do not cross. Processed material should be stored in separate room as well. With room ventilation and other safety measures should be implemented as well to ensure completely safe working area.
