End of Time

Описание: Kristy Vang, co-director of Universal Rhythm Dance Company, began her dance journey at Sheldon High School, training under Rebecca Hobgood and Deboreah Roberts. She was a four-year member of their dance program, earning the VAPA Dance and Director’s Awards before graduating from UC San Diego with a B.A. in Dance and receiving the Jean Isaacs Performance Award. Kristy has trained with esteemed educators, choreographed for the Elk Grove Unified School District, and taught at studios such as Step 1 Dance & Fitness and Northern California Dance Conservatory. She previously directed Soul Purpose Dance Company at Pleasant Grove High School and now co-directs Universal Rhythm Dance Company and The Company Dance Company, continuing to uphold the values instilled by her early mentors, “Do what you love and love what you do.”

This year, Ms. Vang sought to challenge Universal Rhythm dancers with a high-energy jazz piece that blends style, technique, and bold stage presence. Featuring sharp movements, dynamic formations, and plenty of sass, this routine showcases the dancers’ versatility and skill- designed to captivate and energize.
