In fragile and emergency settings, internet connectivity can mean verified information, contact with family, and access to services.
The #GigaPhotoAward on the Urgency of Connectivity is now open. We invite journalists and youth visual storytellers to share images on how communities rely on digital connectivity in crisis-affected contexts.
Last year’s award drew 3,420 submissions from 89 countries and showcased 30 winning photographs in Geneva. Be part of this year’s submission! 🚀
