30+ Takeoffs RWY 16R (& 1 Go-Around) | SLC Planespotting May ’22 Pt. 1

Описание: Some great-sounding departures to the south off the west runway, on a gray and windy spring afternoon.

I was very excited to get a chance to see Delta’s A330neo in the “Team USA” special livery, which was flying to Amsterdam that day. Much to my dismay, however, they sent it to the center runway (16L) for takeoff, which was unusual, especially since another A330neo flying to Paris had just taken off from 16R. I stubbornly decided to film it taking off from afar anyway, though, just so I could have at least some footage of it—it’s not the best quality, but it’s better than nothing! With only 15 currently in the fleet, it will hopefully be back here sooner or later so that I can get a better video of it.

The other interesting thing I saw that day was a Delta A319 going around. I was looking down at my phone not paying attention when it happened, so I don’t know what happened exactly and only started filming after it started climbing, but it looked like it may have actually touched down, or come close to touching down, before going around.
