Описание: Because of small scale farming, the hot weather and poor infrastructure, fresh milk is not always widely available in Tanzania. In Tanzania's biggest city Dar es Salaam though, a Dutch initiative called ´Tanga Fresh´ nowadays supplies the people of fresh dairy products every day. The factory was set up in 1996 by Dutchman Lút Zeilstra as a joint-venture between a group of Dutch cattle farmers and a Tanzanian cooperation of farmers. At the moment about 3000 small scale farmers are participating.
