Cambodian Stir-fry Beef with Lemongrass Paste.
ឆាគ្រឿងសាច់គោ
Ingredients:
12 ounces to 1 pound of beef.
Thinly sliced .
👉Lemongrass Paste Ingredients:
3 stalks fresh lemongrass thinly sliced.
A few slices of galangal root.
10 kaffir lime leave.
10 cloves garlic.
2 shallots.
4 Thai chilies.
2 tsp turmeric powder.
1/4 cup roasted peanut ( optional)
Blend in a mortar and pestle into a paste.
(Use only one cup of lemongrass paste).
Seasoning mix ingredients:
1 tsp sugar.
1/2 tsp msg optional.
2 tsp tamarind powder mix.
1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder.
1 tbsp fish sauce.
Prepare:
2 Fresno chili thinly strips.
3 Thai eggplant.
Some long string bean.
A whole bunch of fresh basil.
Stovetop:
Add a little of cooking oil in a skillet add one cup lemongrass paste cook until fragrant add beef add seasoning mix.
Add some water if necessary cook to taste and adjust.
add basil and serve with steamed rice.
