X4 Foundations: 9.0 beta 1 - Some beta tinkering and destroyers tests

Hello everybody,
Jumped in to beta again, checking what the new loadouts for S/M ships would look like.
Observations:
super carrier gameplay, at least in regard of anti capital capability...dead and buried. That is because the S/M ships anti capital capability, is dead and buried. Missile/torpedo capacity nerfed to hell, along with limiting them to using light torpedoes.
You know those clips that I showed you, with a Raptor or a Shark, travel drive in the middle of a xenon taskforce, select "launched" for bombers and interceptors, and watch how your fighters turn all hostiles in to wrecks..."this is what X4 is all about! :D"?....yeah, gone and gone forever, as soon as 9.0 hits, was fun while it lasted...
capital ships have now all the races special toys, like meson beam, mass driver and so on, as turrets. Don't know how those will behave in AA role, or anti capital/station, but at least now there are some race specific turrets, instead of the usual beam, pulse, bolt acroos the board... For L turrets, plasma seem to still be the best for dmg and rate of fire, we will see, I guess...
That lead us to the second stage of the clip, the destroyers tests:
40:56 anti capital test
48:00 station demolition test
Observations:
against capitals seem to do better than 8.0... will still enter L graviton turret range, but their dmg was diminished, I think, so you stay alive longer, and hopefully the other destroyers in the wing apply enough dmg to blow the K up, before the lead destroyer get blown up...yay
against stations, destroyers still suck
And that's it, this is the 9.0 update...
Instead of having to move just a super carrier with bombers and interceptors around, now I must drag along 10 destroyers...with an aux ship for repairs, with a wing of 20 M bombers and wing of 20 M interceptors, to protect the damn thing...well, with the M bombers now more like a distration against capitals instead of an effective defence force...
So, my fleet of:
1 Shark + 40 torpedo Baracuda + 40 interceptor Chimera
now will be replaced with:
1 Shark + 64 interceptor Mako
10 Rays on bombard for commander
Orca + 20 interceptor Hydra (because now Hydra can no longer have launchers) + 20 torpedo Threshers (because now only Thershers can have M launchers)
Guess, we all will know the "pleasure" of having a fleet scrambled all around the gate area, destroyers cliping in to our carriers, and whatnot...and forming a large "sausage" with our fleet, all along the map, because aux ships are slow and can't keep up with the rest of the fleet...
Yeah...I can say that all my enthusiasm about the new update went bye bye...just like the heavy torpedo and ammo capacity of the S/M ships...
