Splinter Cell HD | PS3 Exclusive | Longplay Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary

Описание: Longplay of an "HD Remaster", Splinter Cell HD, the first game in the HD Trilogy released exclusively for the PS3 console in 2011. Whole trilogy was developed by Ubisoft Pune (India), and well.. it ain't too great. It's tragic really, at least the first game in the trilogy is, I'll see soon about the other two. Its only upside, the whole trilogy, are the visuals, updated texture and model assets (later ported onto PC, thx to modders). Each game can run either in 1280x720 mode, or in "1080p" mode, meaning not 1920x1080, but 1280x1080 most likely, with peculiar type of aliasing, a horizontal sawtooth of sorts. This here is a longplay of that 1080p mode, played on the original PS3 Slim hardware, recorded at 1440p60 H.265 HEVC via OBS. Game ran DISASTROUSLY, with the average framerate I'd put at 23-24 fps overall throughout the whole game. Turning on the nocto- and thermo-vision helps out, but not by much still. Power of the Cell, baby.

Played on Normal, felt like Very Hard, with some very weird AI behaviour that does not match the original, clearly buggy and/or changed. Felt like an unfinished, unbalanced, sloppy shitty product.

Funny thing about this "remaster" - it does not include the DLC missions from the original game, three of them. At least I could not find any way to actually run them or find them in the menu. Let me remind you - GOG version of Splinter Cell HAS THE DLC MISSIONS, and so does the OG Xbox version on Xbox One/Series consoles via BC. Xbox Live is dead, so you won't get these missions on the original OG Xbox hardware anymore.

In August 2004, former U.S. Navy SEAL officer Sam Fisher joins the National Security Agency, as part of its newly formed division "Third Echelon", headed by his old friend Irving Lambert. Two months later, aided by technical expert Anna "Grim" Grimsdóttír and field runner Vernon Wilkes Jr., he is sent to Georgia to investigate the disappearance of two CIA officers. One had been installed into the new government of Georgian president Kombayn Nikoladze, who seized power in a bloodless coup d'état following the assassination of his predecessor; the other was sent in to find the first after her disappearance. Fisher discovers both were murdered on Nikoladze's orders by former Spetsnaz member Vyacheslav Grinko, after discovering that Georgia is secretly waging an ethnic cleansing campaign across Azerbaijan with Georgian commandos. After this is exposed to the international community, NATO launches action in Azerbaijan, prompting Nikoladze to go underground.
