By utilizing low-cost manufacturers in underdeveloped nations to produce off-the-runway looks at low prices so that the clients might see them as disposable, his son Stefan, who took over in 1982, built a massive global supply chain. From 2009 until 2019, Karl-Johan Presson led the H&M empire, expanding it from 2000 to about 5000 locations. The H&M Group is a significant participant in the fashion sector today. The company sells 3 billion garments under its nine brands, bringing in $22 billion in revenue.
