A little bit different kind of video this time around...While working on my chili episode at the Heartland Elk Guest Ranch near Valentine, NE a few weeks ago, I just started thinking about some random thoughts...and this video was born.
Should I go to culinary school? I get this question a lot. I get it from young aspiring chefs in high school, from cooks working in restaurants that want to take it to the next level, and from people who are switching careers mid life. Every chef's story is different and unique, but in this video I break down my personal experience with culinary school and if I think it's a valuable requirement for aspiring chefs.
