Afrokillerz are back in our home with their grooviest mood in 'Imali EP.'

Imali - a word that, in lyrics and poetry, goes far beyond its literal meaning of 'money' - becomes a symbol: power, status, success, greed, even corruption. But in this EP, the word also works as a warning. A call to attention to what has been happening in African electronic music and to the still unequal position of African artists in the global market.

Every beat, every synthesizer, every groove reflects what has been achieved, but also mirrors what still needs to be conquered: recognition, respect, and a leading role on the global stage.
