In this video, I’m sharing a simple and delicious Plum Cake recipe that is soft, moist, and full of rich fruity flavors. This homemade plum cake is perfect for Christmas, New Year, or any festive occasion. Made with dry fruits, nuts, caramel syrup, and warm spices, this cake tastes even better than bakery-style plum cake.
Try this easy step-by-step recipe at home and enjoy a classic festive dessert with your family and friends.
Ingredients:
All-purpose flour
Sugar
Butter / Oil
Eggs (or milk for eggless version)
Mixed dry fruits (raisins, tutti frutti, dates, cherries)
Cashew nuts & almonds
Caramel syrup
Baking powder
Baking soda
Cinnamon powder
Nutmeg powder
Vanilla essence
Method:
First, soak the dry fruits in warm water or juice and keep aside.
Prepare caramel syrup and let it cool.
In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until creamy.
Add eggs one by one (or milk), then vanilla essence.
Mix the soaked dry fruits and nuts.
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and spices together.
Gradually mix everything into a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a greased cake tin.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170–180°C for 40–45 minutes.
Let the cake cool completely before slicing.
Serve this rich and flavorful plum cake with tea or coffee and enjoy the festive vibes.
