Type-11 First Look, and other changes coming 23 September (Elite Dangerous)

Описание: 17 Sep 3311: Members of the press have been invited to test-drive the new Lakon Type-11 Prospector. And we have been given a hint that some useful changes to the Galaxy are coming on 23rd September.

The Type-11 Prospector is produced by Lakon and features a left-positioned front-mounted cockpit with a wide angle for enhanced visibility.
It is classified as a medium size ship and is the first dedicated mining ship to be added to Elite Dangerous.
It features 8 hardpoints, four of which are dedicated mining hardpoints which will only be able to equip mining tools.
Whilst the Type-11 Prospector Is not a combat ship, it still has the potential to defend itself. The hardpoints dedicated to any weapon are positioned to favour turreted weapons.
It's also impossible to miss the brand-new precision mining tool, the Mining Volley Repeater! This new tool fires specially designed projectiles to maximise the amount of fragments extracted from an asteroid, granting a higher yield than other mining tools when laser mining.

Other changes planned for 23 September:
Adjusted Organic Sampler scanning range from 75m → 750m *
Colonisation construction efforts and fully constructed facilities can now be demolished or cancelled.
Colonisation commodities requirements now listed when selecting the system on the Galaxy Map or selecting the facility on the System Map
Alongside the upcoming update the Pilots' Federation will also be introducing a new tool which will allow Commanders to change their name at a cost of 500 ARX.
