Costume Emergency- Making A Modesty Petticoat

Описание: Emergency costuming, making something quick, dirty, and in a rush, is not my favorite way to make things. Sometimes, though, that’s what life throws at you.

This time it was a petticoat to add a layer of protection from upskirting and wardrobe slips during a dance performance. It worked a treat and got me to make a tiered skirt as well. I hate making tiered skirts because the gathering is a nightmare. It’s a fairly simple process otherwise, but because of the amount of gathering it would be a very frustrating first project. I would recommend this for beginners who have already made a few things and want a bit of a challenge.
