Murat and Alev, two young people living in the charming and quiet Aegean town of Sığacık, have been in love with each other almost since childhood. Everyone in the town knows about the romance between Murat, a captain of a tourist excursion boat, and the beautiful Alev, the daughter of a fisherman. At last, the two decide to get married and begin preparing for their wedding.

However, on the very day they start making arrangements for their marriage, Murat receives an unexpected job offer. Meanwhile, Demir Boran, a very wealthy and powerful businessman, and his niece Ümran are traveling through the Aegean Sea on their luxury yacht with their Greek business partners as part of a business trip. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, the paths of these two relatives cross with those of Alev and Murat in Sığacık.
