Today I finally braced the body on my 1970 Chevelle and pulled it off the chassis. This step is critical before a frame-off restoration — if you don’t brace the shell properly, the body can twist and ruin your panel alignment. In this video I walk through how I welded in the bracing, where I placed support bars, how I prepped the body mounts, and the full process of lifting the body off the frame.
