The first ever Long Island Beatbox Battle took place this past August 8th at Amityville Music Hall in Amityville, New York. The success of this battle and the support from the New York and surrounding area's communities is what is pushing LIBBX forward into the new age of live beatbox and hip hop events. More events to come soon and often, let's do the 2020s right!

Beatboxing was born in 1980’s NYC as one of the five elements of hip-hop with the guidance of legends like Doug E Fresh, Kid Lucky, and Rahzel. After decades of evolution, ​underground and overseas, innovation continues to push the art form.

American Beatbox is a platform for the beatboxing community to carry the torch into the future, dedicated to helping beatboxers reach their potential and connect with audiences worldwide via content, live streams, merchandise, battles, and events.

The American Beatbox Championships is the premiere beatbox competition in the USA. Every November, over Veteran’s Day Weekend, the most talented beatboxers from around the country come to NYC to compete for the titles, bragging rights, and a spot to represent their country at the World Champs. 2019 marks the tenth anniversary of the ABCs, and the first official year of American Beatbox launching as a platform.
