A visit to the beautiful Humayun's Tomb complex Delhi Nizamuddin area which was commissioned in 1565 and completed in 1572. It was built by Empress Bega Begum (Haji Begum), the widow of Emperor Humayun, and designed by Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyas. It was the first garden-tomb in the Indian subcontinent. It inspired later Mughal architecture, including the Taj Mahal.
