Welcome to our live broadcast of the 41st Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration and Worship Service!
Broadcast live from the Dickinson Building at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville, VA, this year’s service centers on the powerful theme: "Building Community, The Non-Violent Way."
Join us as we honor Dr. King's legacy through a soaring musical prelude, a celebratory worship service, and a call to action for our local community.
Today’s Program:
4:00 PM – Musical Prelude: Featuring the incredible harmonies of the 100+ Voices Community Choir and the MLK Children’s Choir.
5:00 PM – Worship Celebration: Featuring our Celebratory Speaker, Rev. Dr. Jeanita Richardson (Professor Emeritus, University of Virginia).
