I'll list six things you can do in Abeokuta for no cost if you are coming to Abeokuta via Lagos Train or Ibadan Train ? Abeokuta is an ancient City like Ibadan. It has loads of things that make it a city of many first. In this video i travelled by train from Ibadan to Abeokuta and here are 6 significant things you can do for free in this town Abeokuta.

I travelled from Ibadan to Adire Mall, where I learned how cloth is dyed, the first mosque in Abeokuta, the first church in Nigeria before the Panseke pedestrian bridge, Alake of Egba's palace, and Centenary Hall, where the journey came to an end.

Abeokuta was established in the early 19th century as a place of refuge during the slave trade era. 'Abeokuta' literally means "underneath the rock," this is symbolic as it preserves and tells the tales of the city's past.

The ambience of the city takes you back in time as you enjoy the warmth, culture and hospitality of the people. There is so much to see and experience in this spectacular getaway state.
