Welcome to Slew Living! I'm Esther and I sew stuff to support a slow lifestyle.
In this video I'll do a show and tell of my best ‘minimalist style’ thrift finds from the past 5 or so years. My husband is also an avid thrifter, so we’ll share some menswear too.
The items in this video are strictly from op shops (otherwise known as opportunity shops or charity shops), and NOT from consignment stores, secondhand platforms or businesses. (The only difference is that op shops are charitable, whereas the others are not.)
While thrifting is not the be-all-and-end-all of sustainable fashion, it’s an affordable and fun way to minimise environmental and social impact, so hopefully you feel inspired to shop secondhand after this video.
