Exploring 18b: Las Vegas Arts District Walking Tour

Описание: Welcome to The AWEsome Stuff Show! This walking tour of the Las Vegas Arts District 18b covers much (but not all) of the official eighteen blocks. Note: there are multiple parking lots near this starting point that are far easier to access on First Friday than anything that is right next to the festival. THIS IS A GREAT WALK FOR FIRST FRIDAY!

We took the walk to pass out tarot playing cards from the AWEsome Deck which are labeled TELL THE TRUTH. DID THIS CARD SPEAK TO YOU?! We took several extra loops to show you as much of the neighborhood as possible. Walking the loop is 1 to 2 miles depending on how many short detours you add. The video begins about a block after the Welcome to the Arts District 18b sign near MAD Gallery (Main Arts District) and heads North on Main Street towards Charleston Boulevard, stopping briefly in For the Love LV to show you my handmade jewelry.

After we reach the intersection of Main Street and Charleston, we walk one block East on Charleston Blvd to Art Way then cross the street heading North towards the Arts Factory and the entrance to First Friday. We continue North/Northeast on Art Way and North on Casino Center Boulevard to the intersection at Coolidge Avenue where we can see the iconic 18b sign that sits on the North end of the neighborhood. Then, we turn West on Coolidge two blocks to visit Snowball (the cat statue)... and, one block further, we are back on Main Street heading South. We stop to show you the courtyard at Boulder Avenue where First Friday (also) takes place between the many restaurants and shops that serve the neighborhood daily.

From there, we walk back across Charleston and continue down Main Street back towards where we began... then do one more quick loop heading West on Utah Avenue one block to Commerce Street (where you will find Pretty Done studios and many other great locally owned shops, restaurants, and bars). We walk one block North to Imperial Avenue and finish by showing you the artist mural that is also a map of the neighborhood.
