The city has been keeping a close eye on its "infrastructure gap," the money needed to keep all its assets in good shape. The city owns $100 billion worth of infrastructure: roads, bridges, buses, CTrains, rec centres, libraries, fire halls, etc. The gap is now $7 billion and growing.
