I learnt how to make glass ships in bottles from Brian Jones MBE and Norman Veitch MBE in Sunderland. They both originally worked as the scientific glassblowers for James A. Jobling and applied their skills to the production of ships in bottles. "After leaving Pyrex, we did not make anything else but ships in bottles."
Filmed at Wearside Glass Sculptures, National Glass Centre, Sunderland in 2018.
