CDC-R along with E-Cell conducted an awareness session called "Thinker to Tycoon: A journey from the Lab to the Market" for Research Scholars to get an idea on how they can convert Research Idea into a Start-Up. The event also featured entrepreneurs who have successfully converted their Lab research into startups, share their journey. The sessions were interactive and included a QnA session too
The speaker for this session is Mr. Akshay Singhal, the founder, and CEO of Log 9 Materials which was started in 2015. Akshay Singhal completed his Btech (2011-2015) in Materials Engineering and Ph.D. (2015-2020) in Nanotechnology from IIT Roorkee.
