Описание: In the year 2015, Vid. Smt. B K Vijayalakshmi Raghu of Sri Saraswathi Sangeetha Vidyalaya, Tilak Nagara, Shivamogga, along with her 100’s of students performed a spectacular 108 veena recital in single stage which was witnessed by Hon. Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri. B S Yedyurappa and also other ministers of Karnataka State. This is one of the historic event even for today in Karnataka.

About the institution:
Sri Saraswati Sangeetha Vidyalaya, established in 2000, is a music institution dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Indian classical music, particularly Veena. The institution has been a beacon of excellence in musical education, nurturing aspiring musicians and showcasing the rich traditions of Carnatic music.

Founded by Vid. Smt. B.K. Vijayalakshmi Raghu, an accomplished Veena artiste with over five decades of experience, the institution has been instrumental in training over 1000 students worldwide. The Vidyalaya has not only been a center for learning but also a stage for grand performances, where students and maestros come together to celebrate the art of music.

We perform Pancha Veena Concerts (5 Veenas), Dasha Veena Concerts(10 Veenas), 25 Veena Concerts, 108 Veena Recital and many more. We do perform in Weddings, House warming ceremony, Baby Shower Ceremony and other. We regularly perform in Ganesh Chaturthi, Navaratri, Hanuma Jayanti, Rama Navami, Margashira Veena Festivals etc.
