Good steel and good tempering is crucial to a good, fully functional European sword. In these tests we flex test 3 swords from Ronin Katana, a Viking sword (RK Euro Model 8), an Arming Sword (Model 9) and a longsword (model 7).
We also show how to find the center of percussion - the sweet spot of a Euro sword where vibration is minimal and the optimal point to strike with. And finally, we compare these flex tests with a "Sword Like Object" - and even bend the thing in half, breaking it with bare hands..!
