Since this morning, flights have not been taking off on time due to issues with the refuelling of aircraft. For more let us now cross to SABC News reporter Nozintombi Miya who is at the O.R. Tambo International Airport.

In a statement, the Airports Company of South Africa says there were some challenges with the fuel supply from the fuel storage facility to the main hydrant system.

ACSA says the fuel services company used a manual system through browsers to fuel aircrafts.

While the issue has since been resolved, it has still left passengers angry mainly because of the lack of communication.
