Follow the steps below to add a Restream chat overlay to your stream with OBS Studio:
1. Go to https://restream.io/chat and login.
2. Once in Chat, copy the URL under Embed in Stream.
3. Now open OBS and click the + symbol to add a new source
4. In the list of source choices select Browser
5. Name the Browser source and select OK
6. Once in the properties for your Browser enter the URL from Restream into the URL field. Edit the other fields as needed. Select OK to save.
7. You can now view the Restream Chat overlay on your stream and move it to your desired location.

Follow the steps give the Restream chat overlay a transparent background in OBS Studio:
1. Right click the browser source for the Restream chat overlay and select Filters.
2. Select the drop down next to Key Color Type and select Custom.
3. Select Select Color
4. In the text field labeled HTML enter the following text with a number symbol in front of it: 172b4d
5. Turn Similarity and Smoothness down to 1.
6. Select Close.
