Step into this traditional ninjutsu class filmed on May 30, 2010, at the Fudōshin Dōjō in Kyoto, Japan. In this training session, students explore fundamental techniques of Togakure Ryū Ninpō Taijutsu, focusing on:
👐 Kenpō – striking principles and targeting.
🛡 Uke Nagashi – fluid defensive movements and redirections.
⚔ Itto-dori (一刀捕) – the signature sword disarming technique of the Togakure Ryū using shuko (手鉤), traditional ninja hand claws, to block a sword strike and trap the blade before disarming the attacker.
This rare technique embodies the spirit of adaptability and precision at the heart of ninjutsu, combining traditional weapons with real-world self-defense applications.
