In Philippians 2:5–11, we see the full story of Jesus, not only His suffering, but why He suffered, and what came after the cross.

Though He existed in the form of God, Jesus chose humility. He entered our world as a servant, took on human flesh, and became obedient to the Father in every way, even to the point of death on a cross.

“He humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name
that is above every name…”
(Philippians 2:8–9, NAB

The cross was not an accident. It was the cost of obedience.
And because Jesus was willing to go all the way down, God lifted Him up.

Now, at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This message invites us to look again at who Jesus is, what He endured for us, and why His name carries such power, not only for eternity, but for our lives right now.

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You humbled Yourself and died on the cross for me.
I confess that I need You and cannot save myself.
I turn away from my sin and place my trust in You.
Be the Lord of my life.

Antes da fundação do mundo, um plano já estava em ação.

Em Filipenses 2:5–11, vemos toda a trajetória de Jesus, da glória à humildade, do sofrimento à exaltação. Este texto revela não apenas o que Jesus suportou, mas por que Seu nome está acima de todo nome.

Jesus não se apegou à Sua posição. Ele entrou em nosso mundo em forma humana, humilhou-se e tornou-se obediente ao Pai, até a morte, e morte de cruz.

“E, sendo encontrado em forma humana,
humilhou-se a si mesmo e foi obediente até a morte,
e morte de cruz!
Por isso Deus o exaltou à mais alta posição
e lhe deu o nome que está acima de todo nome…”
(Filipenses 2:8–9, NVI)

A cruz não foi um acidente. Foi obediência.
E porque Jesus desceu até o fim, Deus o exaltou.

Hoje, ao nome de Jesus, todo joelho se dobrará, nos céus, na terra e debaixo da terra, e toda língua confessará que Jesus Cristo é o Senhor, para a glória de Deus Pai.

Esta mensagem nos convida a olhar novamente para quem Jesus é, o que Ele fez por nós e por que Seu nome continua tendo poder, para a eternidade e para nossas vidas hoje.
