Описание: The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) manages 783 national parks and reserves covering over 6.6 million hectares or 8 percent of NSW. These parks and reserves include some of the most spectacular locations in NSW, including World Heritage areas, rainforests, rivers, beaches, wetlands, deserts, marine parks, culturally significant places, and alpine areas. October 2007 marks the 40th anniversary of the creation of the NPWS, celebrating the conservation of some of the state's most unique and precious natural landscapes, cultural heritage and wildlife.
