Divi and Tamarijn Aruba All-Inclusive -- The Review

Описание: The Wanderer Family USA does not often return to the same resort twice. There are just too many places to experience. Enter the Divi and Tamarijn (   / @diviaruba  ) on the One Happy Island of Aruba, and you'll see why the resorts joined Club Med Guadeloupe as our only repeat holidays. Bill and Nancy loved Divi    • Divi All-Inclusive, Aruba   10 years ago, so it was just a matter of time before Liam joined the party at The Tamarijn where we were equally impressed and satisfied. Additional feedback:

Location. The location is perfect, less than 15 minutes from the airport by rental car. Both California Lighthouse and Baby Beach (and scores of adventures in between) are less than 30 minutes away.

Staff. Everyone was super nice and professional. Indeed, the people make Aruba "One Happy Island."

Rooms. Our room was perfect for a family of three. House Keeping was super friendly, thorough, and dependable.

Pools/Beach. The pools at Divi and Tamarijn are great, but don't forget about the Infinity Pool across the street at Divi Golf. (There is a slide, but it was under construction.) As for the beach that lies between the two resorts and in front of the Divi, simply divine!

Entertainment. Very well done each night, especially The Pirates Treasure Quest Show,    • The Pirates Treasure Quest Show, Tamarijn ...  . Bravo! Golfing at The Links at Divi Aruba was super fun, too --    • Видео  .

Chow. We tried each all-inclusive restaurant (Pure Lime, twice) for dinner and loved them all. Ginger is popular so REMEMBER THIS IMPORTANT TIP. Download the resort app three days before you leave for Aruba. At 2000 hours three days prior, use the app to make a dinner reservation for your first night on the island (type "Not yet assigned" for room number). Do the same thing for each night you don't want to eat at the buffet.

Drinks and bars. We were impressed. Great selection of drinks (including VS Hennesy) and fast and friendly bartenders.

Adventures. California Lighthouse and the drive to it were fun and easy. Baby Beach was blissful and even more popular than it was a decade ago. Snorkeling at Tres Trapi was awesome. And the Aloe Factory was a great thing to do on our last day waiting for our flight.

Other Tips. (1) Book the direct flight from Dulles on United; (2) Rent a car at the airport -- Aruba is fun and easy to explore (download Maps.Me and the Aruba map before arriving in Aruba!!!); (3) Stay at the Tamarijn instead of the Divi (cheaper and more centrally located); (4) Don't forget snorkel gear, swim shoes, and an underwater camera; (5) If you don't have Global Entry (includes TSA Precheck), get it! Americans clear U.S. Customs in Aruba, and the airport has Global Entry. Took us 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes; and, of course, (6) Just Book It!
